India: Agrarthulir FoundationÂ
In southern India, nine settlements are meant to coalesce to form a village community.
In India such settlements are not considered a village in the sense of an orderly municipal community and are thus unable to receive government funding. Nevertheless, the number of inhabitants is in an order of magnitude that makes it nearly impossible to live together without having the proper structures in place.
Max Brose Hilfe is supporting the region by providing generous assistance to help construct the electricity and water infrastructure and build two educational centers for children and adults along with attached medical care facilities.
This will enable well over a hundred children to attend school regularly.
